LISEF is happy to announce that we WILL be running the Middle School fair on March 7, 2023 at Crest Hollow Country Club. The rules and guidelines will be updated on this page by October 13, 2022. Registration is expected to open on November 14, 2022.
The Society for Science and the Public (SSP) has partnered with Thermo Fisher to launch the Thermo Fisher MASTERS™ National Middle School Science and Engineering Competition. This program is open to students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Under the guidance of their teachers, students perform an investigation. The results of the investigation are presented at the regional LISEF – SSP Thermo Fisher MASTERS Fair. The projects receiving a first place award are eligible to apply for national Thermo Fisher MASTERS competition. Top 10% nominations for each regional fair are based on total number of participating students and determine the number of first place projects.
