Welcome to LISEF     Welcome to the Charles Duggan Long Island Science and Engineering Fair! Charles Duggan pioneered the idea of Independent Research programs on Long Island and held the first Long Island Science and Engineering Fair in 1986. Mr. Duggan served as the first President of LISEF, Inc.   THE INITIAL PORTION OF THE LISEF board meetings are open to the public, and interested parties are always encouraged to attend. This change is designed to maximize the voluntary assent of the participants. It will go into effect May 14, 2010. It will apply to all projects that require voluntary assent of human subjects except those that received IRB approval prior to May 14th.
